With this win, India maintained their record of remaining unbeaten against Afghanistan in T20 World Cup. Suryakumar Yadav received the player of the match award for his superb innings. 

Earlier, after winning the toss, India decided to bat first. Bating first against Afghanistan at Barbados, India scored 181/8 in 20 overs. Now Afghanistan need to score182 runs to chase.

For India, Suryakumar Yadav hit his second half century of the tournament, scoring 53 off 28 balls, while Hardik Pandya hit 32 off 24 deliveries. Virat Kohli (24) and Rishabh Pant (20) made some important runs.

For Afghanistan, Rashid Khan and Fazalhaq Farooqi took three wickets each. While Naveen-ul-Haq picked 0ne wicket.

India are undefeated in the tournament till now, while Afghanistan have won three out of four Group matches.
